KAUTTER & KELLEY ARCHITECTS is committed to delivering attentive and responsive architectural services. Each of our principal architects has over 23 years of professional practice and is represented by a diverse portfolio with extensive experience in design for new construction, renovations and additions, interiors, and coordination of civil, structural, mech/elec, engineering disciplines.

Incorporated in 1994, the architectural practice is managed by its principals, Michael J. Kautter, AIA, President, Steven G. Kelley, AIA, Vice President and Amy J. Laughlin, Secretary/Treasurer. Mr. Kautter and Mr. Kelley each have eight years of experience in major urban markets, New York City and Columbus, Ohio, respectively, where complex coordination issues and the demand for a high level of quality control is commonplace. Because of this depth of experience, we are often called upon to provide many different professional architectural services for which we are uniquely qualified.

Approximately 40% of our projects are commercial, with 40% encompassing design for institutional, civic, and recreational architecture. The remaining 20% are varied residential projects often demanding extensive attention to custom detailing and always requiring close client interaction.

We are often involved with historically sensitive projects involving specialized documentation and detail oriented approval processes associated with The National Register of Historic Places and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Our interior design experience includes the layout, coordination, and purchase of furniture and equipment for private, commercial, and public institutional clientele.
