Description:
Renovation and addition to an early 1700’s historic
stone and brick Brethren Meeting House located in northwest
Lancaster County. The close proximity of the meeting house to an
early 1800’s brick farm house prompted the Owner’s
desire to physically connect the two structures. The design
focused on the development of a sensitive linkage between
the two structures. The renovation of the meeting house
includes the installation of new structural floor systems
with tongue and groove pine wood flooring, refurbished
windows, doors and door hardware, and the restoration of
two fireplaces. |
